Sometimes you might be asked by us to give a sample to be sent away and analysed. The main types of sample are blood samples, urine, sputum, nail clipping, and stool (or faecal) samples. Some will require an appointment – if you are asked to give a blood sample, you will need to see one of our clinicians. But the others should be done at home and then brought to our sample box. Please ring the practice and you will be given a time slot to come and pick up or drop off your sample
