About us
Equality for all
So let’s talk about us for a moment. At Hiyos we believe in equality. Opportunities we’re given in life, choices we make, the support we receive: they all have a huge impact on our physical, mental and social health. Sadly not everyone gets the same opportunities, choices and support. We’re passionate about tackling those health inequalities.
At HIYOS not only do we react to patients’ needs, we also reach out to people in every community.
Together, we can make a difference.

Patient Engagement Tools: We’re exploring different ways in which patients can have a better understand of what patients want. This ranges from analysing social media, online surveys and face to face groups. We have had over 3,000 responses to some of surveys in 3 days.
Process Improvement: Innovations in workflow and administrative processes can lead to better resource utilisation, reduced wait times, and improved overall efficiency, resulting in a more patient centered approach to care. Using creative ways to improve the way we communicate with patients eg using stories.
Continuous Professional Development: Offering teaching opportunities for healthcare professionals within the practice fosters a culture of continuous learning. This ensures that the staff is up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Training Future Healthcare Professionals: Collaborating with universities and training institutions to provide clinical placements and teaching opportunities for students and residents helps shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. It also brings fresh perspectives and ideas to the practice.
Patient Education Programs: Incorporating teaching elements into patient care, such as providing information about managing chronic conditions or promoting preventive care, empowers patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.
Research:
Evidence-Based Practice: Actively participating in and contributing to clinical research allows us to implement evidence-based practices, ensuring that patient care is grounded in the latest scientific knowledge and research findings. We can also evaluate our clinical interventions.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilising patient data for research purposes enables the identification of trends, risk factors, and effective interventions, leading to better-informed decision-making and personalised patient care plans.
Summary
By actively engaging in innovation, research, and teaching, we can create a dynamic and forward-thinking healthcare environment. This approach not only improves the quality of care provided but also contributes to the overall advancement of healthcare practices and the well-being of the community we serve.
